There is nothing like the feeling of oil paint gliding all buttery over a canvas. If you've never tried it then give it a go. This study for me was all about capturing the 3 dimensional plane shifts of the human face using layers of stacking brush strokes. Painted with professional oil paints (Michael Harding, Winsor&Newton and Gamblin) and the piece is fully varnished. Ready to hang.
